APALIT — The Municipal Government here, together with the Department of Agriculture (DA), recently distributed certified seeds to local farmers as part of the agenda to develop the town’s agricultural sector.
Mayor Oscar Tetangco, Jr. and Vice Mayor Peter Nucom led the distribution of 650 sacks of certified seeds to the beneficiaries.
Tetangco said that the program aims to assist the local farmers in minimizing the cost of their production and increase their income.
