BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur, Sept. 13 (PIA) � The city government of Bislig is all set to host the 3rd Organic Asia Congress (OAC) on September 18 to 21, 2018 to be held here.
With this year�s theme, �One Big Family For Innovation and Sustainability,� this annual event is organized by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements in Asia (IFOAM Asia) with the support of the local government units in Asia. It is also an annual gathering of IFOAM Asia affiliates, including Asian Local Governments of Organic Agriculture (ALGOA) members, and their partners in Asia to discuss and share the developments in the organic sector in the region.
The OAC will work to institutionalize the mechanisms of enhanced cooperation, which will move forward organic food systems and consumption across Asia, it was learned.
