ROXAS CITY, Capiz, July 17 (PIA) — The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) in Capiz called on farmers to insure their crops.
OPA head Sylvia Dela Cruz urged the farmers to have their crops insured so these will be protected during calamities that may affect the agriculture sector.
“We are aggressive in campaigning for crop insurance because we are very confident that it is one of the best mitigating measures to safeguard our farmers with regard to the protection of their crops,” she said.
