Interestingly, three years ago a group bared the massive smuggling of coconut seedlings from the Philippines to China.
Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piol said he will propose anew the lifting of the export ban on mature coconuts on requests by a group of Chinese companies interested to import mature coconuts from the Philippines.
