Dubbed as “Oplan Iwas Peste,” it was launched at the Municipal Agricultural Officers’ Meeting held in Sta. Rosa Thursday, June 28, the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) said.
The campaign aims to raise farmers’ awareness on management practices that can prevent insect pest and disease infestation on rice farms in the province, it said.
