CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Sept. 24 (PIA) The Department of Agriculture in Region 2 handed over agriculture assistance to the troopers of the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army at Camp Melchor Dela Cruz based in Gamu, Isabela recently.
Witnessed by no less than President Rodrigo Duterte who visited the province on September 18, DA-2 regional Executive Director Narciso Edillo turned over one (1) unit brand new 95 horse power Kubota 4-wheel drive tractor with trailing harrow and disk plow, seeds and native pigs and chickens to Major General Perfecto Rimando Jr., 5th ID chief.
Edillo said the tractor and complete accessories will be utilized in food production activities inside the camp and in the development of on-camp activities showcasing latest technologies on food production.
