The Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) had released P32.5 million to assist small cut flower farmers in Benguet, whose income has been affected by the community quarantine.
The ACPC, as of May 6, has downloaded P32.5 million to its eight partner-lending institutions covering 12 municipalities in Benguet to implement the Survival and Recovery Assistance Program for Cut Flowers (SURE for Cut Flowers).
Around 1,300 out of 4,400 small cut flower farmer-beneficiaries in the province so far have benefitted from the emergency response loan program.
