The Department of Agriculture (DA) said it is spending at least P100 million to tap 900 fresh graduates as millennial frontliners to help in implementing the government’s various farm programs nationwide.
Agriculture Secretary William D. Dar said the farm sector needs young blood as they have the skillset and know-how with the latest technologies to help in modernizing the sector.
Dar said the prospective millennials would assist the DA in implementing agriculture programs in each congressional district nationwide.
