QUEZON CITY, Nov. 29 — The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Lanao del Norte has recently turned-over farm machinery and equipment (FMEs) worth P250,000 to 142 member–agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) of Lumbac ARB Consumer Cooperative in the municipality of Magsaysay on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 to boost their agricultural production and economic lives.
Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer Lolita Omar said a Memorandum of Agreement and Trust Agreement and Deed of Donation was signed before the turn-over of the farm machinery and equipment to the members of the cooperative.
“The farm implements consist of a corn sheller, a rice pulverizer machine, a coco grater, and a coco presser that was provided under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project (CRFPSP) of the Department,” Omar said.
