But not only that, according to Dr. Gabriel Romero of Monsanto Philippines Inc. (Monsanto): Bt corn counterfeits will hit at Philippine dreams to export the said commodity.
Romero, Monsanto’s Regulatory Policy and Scientific Affairs lead, said these “counterfeit” Bt corn seeds are offered at almost 50 percent lower than the price of its branded counterpart that results in lower yield.
