NEGROS ORIENTAL, June 26 (PIA)–The Department of Trade and Industry together with Pilmico, the food subsidiary of the Aboitiz Group has conducted Food and Agri and Livelihood Expo for backyard farmers and aspiring agri-entrepreneurs in Bayawan City.
The expo aimed to open up business opportunities for the local community by way of backyard farming or baking.
Pilmico supports the agricultural industry by providing farming communities proper education on starting up their own sustainable agri-business, said Anna Carreon, corporate communications supervisor of Pilmico Foods Corp.
