BORONGAN CITY, July 3 (PIA) – – The provincial government sees massive cassava production will somehow solve poverty in this province.

This was pronounced by provincial administrator, George Erroba, during the graduation of some 445 cassava farmers of the School- On-the Air (SOA)-Program through Radyo Pilipinas, Cassava Production of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI-8) and the LGU-Eastern Samar, and the Office of the Provincial Agricultural Services (OPAS).

Erroba said that the provincial government is now linking with industrial buyers of cassava, but that the cassava produced by Estehanons must be of quality and in large quantities.
