In a statement, the Department of Agriculture (DA), which now leads the TGFS, said it already got the nod of the country’s InterAgency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) to pursue its planned food security development framework (FSDF).
The decision came the day after the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) released the agriculture sectors ugly growth performance for the first quarter of the year, showing a 1.2 percent decline in terms of productivity.
