Imus launches organic urban farming project

IMUS CITY, Cavite Officials of this highly-urbanized city are embarking on organic urban farming as a long-term program in a bid to make the city the Organic Food Capital of Cavite.

Mayor Emmanuel Leonard Maliksi led Friday the launching of the Organic Urban Farming project to start the implementation of the three-phase program particularly for the city’s idle lands.

The city’s first-of-a-kind farming scheme was launched by the officials in a simple ceremony at the CBF Farm Compound at Citiland Subdivision in Barangay Malagasang II-F.
