SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, April 12 (PIA) — As part of the 168th founding anniversary celebration of the province of La Union, the first-ever Agri-Tourism Festival was conducted which drew strong support from stakeholders which started from February 19 until March 2, 2018.
SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, April 12 (PIA) — As part of the 168th founding anniversary celebration of the province of La Union, the first-ever Agri-Tourism Festival was conducted which drew strong support from stakeholders which started from February 19 until March 2, 2018.
With the aim to promote the province’s vision to be the heart of Agri-Tourism in Northern Luzon by 2020, the PGLU conceptualized the festival to hold activities focused on both agriculture and tourism.
The festival formally opened on February 19 which gathered more than 300 participants from the municipalities and lone city composed of their local and barangay officials and other guests and visitors from the different national government agencies.
