DAVAO CITY Mindanao Business Council chair Vicente T. Lao urged farmers to seize the opportunity to export their produce directly to the Chinese market amid the growing interests in Mindanao.
The business leader said more Chinese will be sourcing tropical fruits from Mindanao and undertake other business activities with Mindanawon businessmen, following the opening of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China last October 28.
We have a lot to offer because Mindanao’s economy, as you very well know, is basically agricultural. China has lot of agricultural expertise they would like to share to the Philippines, he said.
