TACLOBAN CITY More than 400 Leyte farmers, who are trained-scholars of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), have graduated from a Leyte town farm school Saturday, a report from the Leyte governors office based in this city, said.
Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico L. Petilla who led in the distribution of the TESDA National Certificates (NC) said that there were 433 TESDA trained-scholars graduates from the Farm School in Villa Conzoilo, Jaro Leyte.
Loreta Banario, provincial director TESDA Leyte, said that the farmers were declared graduates for having completed the competency requirements under the Philippine Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) competency assessment and certification system.
