BACOLOD CITY — The Negros Occidental provincial government is working for a cooperation and partnership with Taiwan to further develop its agriculture sector.
Gov. Alfredo Maraon Jr., speaking at the Philippine-Taiwan Agriculture Forum held at the Capitol Social Hall here Wednesday afternoon, said Taiwan and Negros Occidental have many things in common.
He noted that both areas produce agricultural crops, such as pineapples, mushrooms, and vegetables, among others.
