THE push for diversification of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental has gained boost through the series of commodity investment forums it hosted.

Former governor Rafael Coscolluela, at the sidelines of the Investment Forum for Livestock and Poultry Industry held at the Provincial Capitol  Social Hall in Bacolod City Wednesday, March 20, said the participants have expressed interests to diversify in various agricultural commodities.

Coscolluela, also the provincial consultant on investment promotions, export, and trade development, said stakeholders have shown high level interests particularly in rice seed growing, livestock like black pig and cattle, vegetables like squash, and other crops including corn, banana, cacao and coffee.
