Bacolod City – The Negros Occidental provincial government is urging Negrenses to be ready for a weak La Niña episode early this year.
Three provincial department heads particularly advised farmers, fisherfolk and livestock raisers to closely monitor their agricultural properties.
Zephard Gerhart Caelian, Provincial Disaster Management Program Division chief said the La Niña is expected to affect the province and other parts of the country from January to March.
