The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is set to start the construction of the P990.37-million Bulo Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (Bulo SRIP), which could irrigate 570 hectares of agricultural lands in Bulacan once finished.
The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is set to start the construction of the P990.37-million Bulo Small Reservoir Irrigation Project (Bulo SRIP), which could irrigate 570 hectares of agricultural lands in Bulacan once finished.
Located in Kalawakan, Doña Remedios Trinidad (DRT) in Bulacan, the project should increase the agricultural production in the area through the provision of irrigation and drainage infrastructures.
The project particularly targets to irrigate 35 hectares of agricultural lands in Kalawakan, DRT and 535 hectares of agricultural lands at Malibay, San Miguel, benefiting around 500 local farmers.
