CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY–The Department of Agriculture in Region 10 (DA-10) called on farmers and farmer organizations on Wednesday to register in the Farmers and Fisherfolk Enterprise Development Information System (FFEDIS), part of the national government’s streamlining of agriculture information database.
DA-10 Executive Director Carlene C. Collado said the move aims to pool resources for enterprise development, as provided in Republic Act 11321 or otherwise known as the Sagip Saka Act, and DA Memorandum Circular 25 series of 2020.
According to Collado, FFEDIS is a web-based information system that contains a list of possible and implemented programs and projects, a registry of agricultural and fisheries enterprises, and a roster of private companies engaged in such enterprises.
