Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the Department of Agriculture (DA) has approved the construction of the Crop Biotechnology Center at Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
“Once completed next year the research center is expected to be the hub for implementing effective and efficient agricultural biotechnology research and development agenda which will help our farmers in cultivating their crops,” he said in a press briefing in Malacanang.
