This week, Rantizo became the first company approved for agricultural drone spraying in the state of Wisconsin, as the company continues to pioneer the path for drone based agricultural applications across the Midwest.

Since announcing our approval for drone spraying in Iowa, just a few weeks ago, the phone has simply not stopped ringing, stated Rantizo CEO, Michael Ott. We’ve had requests for cover crop seeding, fungicide applications, even liquid copper sulfate spraying to control moss. We’ve had calls with growers in almost every state in the country at this point, Ott continued.

With record levels of rainfall this year resulting in delayed planting of corn and soy crops, the approval for Rantizo’s drone based services comes at a crucial time for midwestern growers needing fungicide and insecticide applications.
