A VIRTUAL agri-bagsakan called DC Agriexchange will be launched by the Davao City Agriculture’s Office (CAO) on Monday, March 19.
In a bid to help lessen the price increases in agricultural products because of middle men, CAO created the official Facebook group DC Agriexchange wherein farmers and buyers alike can be members. The virtual agri-bagsakan will feature any agricultural crops grown and harvested in Davao City regardless of the volume.
“We need a lot of ways to get the farmers to the market without having to go through a lot. It affects the pricing so much. This DC Agriexchange will answer the pricing concern,” said Leuterio.
